Plasma Fibroblast in Glasgow
The latest innovation in Non Invasive, non surgical skin tightening and fight against ageing
Here at The Beauty Cabin in Glasgow, we specialize in Plasma Fibroblast treatment, a non-surgical skin tightening procedure for tightening and lifting sagging skin on the face and body with a plasma device. We offer Plasma Fibroblast treatment to clients in West Scotland from beauty salons in various areas. We also offer Plasma Fibroblast in the comfort of your own home although a travel charge may apply.
If you want to get rid of the lines and loose skin around the areas of your upper and lower eye lids, lower face and jawline, neck, abdomen, etc., the Plasma Fibroblast treatment may be right for you.
Plasma Fibroblast treatment provides instant results that last upto 4 years and longer!
This non-surgical procedure can be completed in just 30 minutes and visibly lifts the skin around the eye area. Gain an instant rejuvenated and bright-eyed look costing much less than conventional surgey such as face lifts etc.
Our Fibroblast hand-piece produces a tiny plasma flash which leaps from tip to the skin in a micro-millimetre sized point. This superficial point minimises the skin in its immediate vicinity - which is intended to reduce the excess skin, tightening the lid/under eye area. A series of tiny brown spots are strategically placed to attain the desired result for the excess skin. The skin around the spot tightens pulling the cells closer together.
Are there any side effects?
Immediately after treatment the area may be red. 1-2 days after the treatment, swelling may occur. After 5-7 days, the sloughing of the wound healing process has disappeared. Slight redness should no longer visible after 3 weeks. You may as though you have sunburn.
Does it hurt?
An anaesthetic cream is applied before treatment to reduce the sensation of the Fibroblast. Most clients experience minimal discomfort.
Is the treatment permanent?
Once the skin fibres are shortened, the effects are permanent and last approx 4years or longer depending on an individual's aging process.
How long does each treatment session take?
A session lasts around 30 minutes for smaller areas such as frown line to 3hours for larger areas such as full neck or tummy.
Is the treatment painful?
You will be numbed before the treatment with a topical anaesthetic, however, some clients will experience a mild but bearable discomfort. The eye area can be more uncomfortable but again, bearable. Immediately after the treatment clients usually find that the skin can feel tight, warm and slightly tender.
When you can back to work?
Immediately, although this is a personal choice as you will show redness, swelling and the carbon dots which take 4-7days to fall off.
What about aftercare?
Immediately after treatment there may be a slight burning sensation. This is perfectly normal and will usually disappear during the remainder of the day. Some people find this uncomfortable or persistent, if this happens an anti-inflammatory medication such as Ibuprofen is suggested.
Following treatment, it is normal to have some swelling, this can be around the eyes and can last look worse on day 2 or 3. but usually begins to clear by day 4. Do not apply a cold compress as this may intefere with healing as the swelling is a natural reaction.
Crusting will usually develop over the treated area, this will often initially be brown on the surface of the skin and will flake off over the following days. It may take over 2 weeks to completely disappear. It is important tol NOT to pick at this crusting as this may lead to infection or scarring.
Occasionally the treated area may become a little weepy, don’t panic! this is all part of the normal healing process and will improve with time. Good hygiene is essential to prevent cross-contamination and infection and you will be given aftercare instructions and healing cream.
Once healed, you must use factor 50 sunscreen when out and about for at least 12 weeks and you should avoid sunbeds and sunbathing
DO NOT use alcohol based cleansers.
